Meet our new sponsored child

This beautiful little girl's name is Martha, she is eight years old and she lives with her mom and dad and three brothers in a one room dwelling in Ethiopia. Her parents are both casual labourers but the family's income is unstable and far from adequate to provide for the basic needs. Our sponsorship will help establish and expand access to necessities such as education, health care, clean water and skills training for youth and adults. Martha's family is Orthodox Christian in faith and speaks Amharic.

We look forward to watching Martha grow and flourish over the years of this sponsorship. Our plan is to encourage the parish and especially the children of the Sunday School to write to Martha and learn more about what life is like for her in Ethiopia
