On June 17th we held a lunch and bake sale. The lunch was truly delicious and some of the men of our parish served it. The ladies did the baking and there was a lot of delicious items to choose from. On May 28th members of the congregation attended the Bishop's Company Dinner at Carmens. The guest speaker was The Most Reverend Shane Parker Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada. The children and young people of our parish recently went out for bowling and pizza afternoon. They had a wonderful time together. They are an awesome group of young people led by very committed and loving leadership. During coffee hour, they meet in the parish hall for a game of chess. Parishioners are welcome to join them!

Our evening began with a lasagna dinner followed by apple pie and ice cream. Our in-house entertainers were wonderful as always and there was a good time had by all. Today we held our first meeting of our newly formed men's group, All The King's Men. We began the meeting with a complimentary breakfast followed by much sharing and laughter. The men said that they all enjoyed themselves and that this is what they have been looking for. The breakfast began and 10 a.m. and the men will still laughing and sharing at 1:30. This past Sunday the Sunday School children and youth of our parish went bowling with Canon Bahman and Tricia . They had a wonderful time. There was lots of laughter and excitement.

On October 19th we celebrated our new members with a potluck luncheon and special welcome cake. We are so blessed to be able to welcome these wonderful people into our parish and look forward to praying, praising and having fun together with them.
