It's Pentecost Happy Birthday Church!!

The Feast of Pentecost was an amazing day at The Church of Our Saviour The Redeemer.

We began the day by welcoming into Jesus’ family Jenna Simpson, granddaughter of Margie Hoffman through the sacrament of Holy Baptism.

Following the service the congregation journeyed outside to the front lawn for the blessing of two beautiful red maples donated by Mr. Sam Lottridge who is our resident gardener. These trees will add shade to the lovely memorial bench which was also blessed in memory of Dorothy Tong and Sally Willis. Inside a beautiful new Archive Cabinet donated by Connie and Gord Hamilton in memory of the Corman family was also blessed.

During the past year the parish has been busy putting together memorabilia from the past for future generations to enjoy and today we saw the results of our efforts with the blessing of the time capsule located in the front lawn.

So lots and lots of blessings this Pentecost which, by the way, is also the 12th anniversary of the amalgamation of The Church of Our Saviour and The Church of The Redeemer resulting in the awesome parish now known as The Church of Our Saviour The Redeemer!
