Pet Blessing

On Sunday, October 5^th The Church of Our Saviour The Redeemer held its annual Pet Blessing.  Parishioners were invited to bring their pets or a photo of their pets to be blessed.   The church was filled with smiling parishioners and their cherished pets.  The animals were all so very well behaved and remained quiet during most of the service, however; at the singing of the doxology the dogs decided to join in the singing with us, it was so amazing because they stopped at the same moment that the congregation stopped singing.  It was as if they were joining with us in glorifying God.  This service is always looked forward to with joy and anticipation.
