Happy Birthday Church!!

What a wonderful day of celebration! Today our parish celebrated the Day of Pentecost in a very special way. The readings for the day took a totally different form with everyone, men, women, young people and children having speaking parts. At one point the children of the Sunday School said, "Praise the Lord" each in a different language. Following the dramatic reading the Sunday School children handed out coins with John 3:16 on them to everyone in attendance. Birthday cake and ice cream topped off the celebration at coffee hour.
