Two Mitten Trees decorated and ready to be sent to St Matthew's House to keep children cozy and

Our Knitting Group meets at 1:30 on Monday afternoons in the Whitcomb Room. This year this happy little group not only enjoyed each others company but also made lap blankets for area nursing homes, baptism blankets to be given to our newly baptized babies as well as mittens, scarves and hats for two Mitten Trees. The items on these two trees will be sent to St. Matthew's House to keep children warm and cozy during the cold winter months. Shown with the decorated trees are some of our knitters. From left to right are Noreen Felker, Margaret Salter, Doris Roger and group coordinator Jean Jaggard. If you are interested in joining this group you are most welcome. No knitting experience is necessary.
